Last night it wasn’t really snowing or raining, but that crazy mix of “snot” — ‘snot rain and ‘snot snow’. When I woke up this morning, it was 18°F (-7.778°C)… and there was loose snow and icy patches. The perfect running weather, right? I snagged these photos with my phone of some of the pine needles at the park where we run the Nielson Challenge. You can click on those to see the bigger images, if you want.
My daughter came out with me too — she hasn’t run one in a few months. She was pleased with herself for running the whole distance, even when she hasn’t been training or conditioning. I was pleased too, of course.
